Prevea Pints & Pointers is a free educational series that features expert speakers who offer tips and answer questions about running and preparing for the marathon.

NEW THIS YEAR: The Green Bay Running Club will host a monthly Fun Run prior to each meeting. Join us in the parking lot at the Green Bay Distillery at 5 p.m. for a three- or six-mile run.

Are you running your first full or half marathon this spring? Larry Lueck, First Timer Director for Cellcom Green Bay Marathon, and Ross McDowell, owner of Run Away Shoes, will address common “first timer” questions – whether it’s about training, clothing, shoes, the event itself or life in general.

Healthy Eating and Recipes for Runners

Prevea Health’s Nutritionist and fellow marathon runner Deb Guenterberg knows all too well how time consuming it is to train for a marathon. She will discuss how to stay fueled and provide healthy, easy-to-prepare meals during your training, complete with a demonstration. Recipes will be available for you to take home and incorporate into your everyday meal plans.

Being a Mother Runner: Balancing Kids, a Career and Life Between the Miles

Amy Bailey, “mother runner”, is a local runner who is also a Community News Editor for the Green Bay Press-Gazette. She will discuss how she balances her family, a successful career and training for half and full marathons. Amy’s story and inspiration will help you realize you are not alone in the running community.

You have physically trained for months, but how is your mental training? UW-Green Bay Phoenix Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Coach Mike Kline will inspire you to reach the finish line. His passion as a runner and a coach will motivate you to reach the impossible in life and running.
