Wearing a mask helps slow the spread of COVID-19 across our communities when combined with physical distancing and other infection prevention practices, such as frequent handwashing. This page is designed to provide all you need to know about masking for yourself and your loved ones, in one convenient location. The information you will find on this page is provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and Prevea Health medical experts. A statewide mask mandate is currently in effect for Wisconsin.
