Head Injury and Concussion

Accidents and athletic activities are two of the most common causes of concussion. With symptoms ranging from mild to severe, concussion may cause a bad headache, memory loss or unconsciousness. Attend this free seminar to learn more.

This 90-minute seminar includes a question-and-answer session as well as information about prevention, the Standardized Assessment of Concussion (SAC) exam and treatment. A paramedic also will demonstrate how a spine board is used to stabilize patients with head injuries.
