Public relations guidelines and procedures

Ensuring the privacy and comfort of our patients is a top priority at Prevea Health. The following guidelines and procedures help ensure we continue to put patients first and abide by patient privacy laws (HIPAA).

Arranging an interview, filming and/or photograph(s)

All members of the media must first contact public relations if they would like to:

  • Interview a Prevea Health provider or employee
  • Conduct an interview on Prevea property
  • Film or take photographs on Prevea property

On-site visits

Please do not show up to our health centers or other properties unannounced, or, significantly earlier than the time you scheduled with the public relations team member. It is our strict policy that a member of our public relations team accompanies any media for the entire duration of their visit to our health centers and other properties. This is crucial to protecting the privacy of our patients.

Filming or photographing our patients without their written consent (an action that can only be arranged by a Prevea public relations team member prior to filming/photographing) is strictly prohibited at all times on our properties (this includes the exterior spaces of our properties, such as parking lots and entrances).

Thank you for taking the time to read our public relations policies and procedures. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact a member of our team.
