The Importance of Exercise and Diet
It all started 20 years ago when my father had a heart attack, and he ended up having bypass surgery. Through the years, he has had many ups and downs. He currently has a total of 14 stents, and two weeks ago, he went through another catherization. They were unable to put anymore stents in. So, they used the balloon to open up his arteries again but was told this would not work anymore for him. He is scheduled to have open heart surgery again on Sept. 31, 2007. It is so important for everyone, especially if you have a family history of heart disease, to exercise and watch your diet on a regular basis.
