Turning my Life Around
I have always prided myself on not being sick. However, within the span of a two week hospitalization, I was diagnosed with congestive heart failure, diabetes, high cholesterol, stroke, COPD, peripheral neuropathy, and obstructive sleep apnea.
At first I was depressed, but once I became accustomed to my medication routine, I decided turn my life back around. I started with a range of motion exercises, but now have progressed to water aerobics and dance instruction (ballet). If there is one blessing with the peripheral neuropathy, it is that my feet no longer hurt in my dance shoes!
