Community Events

Prevea Sports Medicine is actively involved in the community by providing sports medicine coverage at events such as the Cellcom Green Bay Marathon and the Prevea Titletown 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament.

The sports medicine staff also coordinates the Prevea Training Runs for the Cellcom Green Bay Marathon held each year on Saturday mornings from January to May.  More than 100 runners participate in this free training program that guides runners through a training schedule and weekly designated routes.

For high school athletes, Prevea conducts annual sports screenings at the Prevea Health Centers in Ashwaubenon, Pulaski, Oconto and Seymour.  In 2006, Prevea Sports Medicine donated its entire $8,000 in proceeds from the WIAA sports screenings to 57 local middle and high schools throughout Green Bay and its surrounding areas. 

Since 2000, Prevea donated more the $69,000 to area athletic departments.
