Jennifer Brenton, MD, FACOG

Jennifer Brenton, MD, FACOG, received her bachelor's degree and medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School-Inteflex Program in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She completed her internship and her obstetrics/gynecology residency at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Peter Fergus, MD

The founder of Green Bay HeartCare, Peter Fergus, MD, has provided care to cardiology patients in Northeast Wisconsin since 1975.

 

A 1966 graduate of Harvard College, he earned his medical degree at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry in 1970. He then completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Boston City Hospital, and his residency in cardiology at West Roxbury Veterans Administration Hospital.

 

Dr. Fergus and Green Bay HeartCare joined Prevea's team of cardiologist and cardiothoracic Surgeons in February 2008. He is currently seeing patients at the Shawano Avenue, Marinette and Door County Health Centers. To schedule an appointment with Dr. Fergus, call (920) 496-8877.

Danqing Guo, MD

Danqing Guo, MD, joined Prevea's Family Practice Department in March, and is now seeing patients at the Prevea East Mason Health Center.

 

Dr. Guo graduated from Beijing Medical University and completed a family medicine residency at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Dr. Guo has been practicing in Tomahawk, Wisconsin since completing his training.

Craig Heins, MD, FACOG

Craig Heins, MD, FACOG, received his bachelor's degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, his medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska, and completed his internship and residency at the David Grant Medical Center located on Travis Air Force Base in California.

 

Dr. Heins joined Prevea Sheboygan Women's Care in January, 2005 after retiring from active duty in the United States Air Force where he served as the Medical Director of Inpatient Obstetric and Gynecologic Services at the 35th Medical Operations Squadron Misawa Air Base, Japan.

Cliff Martin, MD

Cliff Martin, MD, received his bachelor's degree from the University of Montana in Missoula, his medical degree from Tulane University in New Orleans, and completed his internship and his obstetrics/gynecology residency at Washington University/Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.

 

He worked for four years in public health in St. Louis before relocating to the Sheboygan area and founding Sheboygan Women's Health, S.C. in 1990.

 

Sheboygan Women's Health, S.C. joined Prevea Health on April 2, 2008 and is now known as Prevea Sheboygan Women's Care. To schedule an appointment with Dr. Martin, call (920) 458-4419.

James Ulibarri, MD

James Ulibarri, MD, completed his medical education and orthopedic residency at the University of Wisconsin Medical School in Madison. He finished his orthopedic spine surgery fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh.


Dr. Ulibarri specializes in cervical spine disorders, revision spine procedures, minimally invasive procedures, degenerative disorders, spine trauma and tumors.

Linda Halvorsen, Ph.D.

Linda Halvorsen, Ph.D., recently joined Prevea Health when Green Bay HeartCare integrated with the Prevea family in February.

 

She earned a Bachelor of Arts–Psychology from Northern Michigan University and her Doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Indiana State University-Terre Haute. She then completed a post-doctoral fellowship program in clinical health psychology at Michigan State University-Flint Area Medical Education Consortium for Advanced Psychology Training.

Linda Halvorsen, Ph.D.

   

Katie Tobin, Au.D.

Katie Tobin, Au.D., earned a Bachelor of Arts—Communicative  Disorders and a Master of Science—Audiology from the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh. She then graduated with a Doctor of Audiology from Arizona School of Health Sciences in 2005.

 

Dr. Tobin is now providing diagnostic audiology, hearing aids

Dawn C. Baarendse, RNC, OG/NP

Dawn Baarendse, RNC, OG/NP, received her registered nursing degree from Lakeshore Technical College in Cleveland, Wisconsin and her advanced nursing degree through PPW, Milwaukee School of Nursing, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Kari Gondeck, APNP

Kari Gondeck, APNP, worked in St. Mary's Hospital Medical Center's ICU as a registered nurse until she graduated from Concordia University in 2007 with a Master's of Science in Nursing. She is now a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner.

 

Kari is now practicing cardiology at the Shawano Avenue Health Center.  She loves the preventive approach that is taken by Prevea Green Bay HeartCare and wants to help patients take control of their own health.

Suzanne Linton, APNP

Prevea Health would like to congratulate Suzanne Linton, APNP, for recently earning her advanced nurse practitioner license. Suzanne has worked as a nurse in the Prevea Urology Department for the past 9 years.

 

Her specific interests include interstitial cystitis urologic health, bladder/prostate cancer, incontinence, holistic health and interstitial cystitis pessaries for incontinence.

Debbie Metzler, APNP

Debbie Metzler, APNP, has worked at the University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison, Bellin Hospital Advanced Care Department and is an Assistant Professor at Bellin College of Nursing, where she continues to teach in the area of cardiac nursing.

 

Having worked with Prevea Green Bay HeartCare in a variety of settings for more than 25 years, she believes in the preventive philosophy regarding health care. Debbie values listening to the patient's concerns, providing them with treatment options and supporting their positive lifestyle choices.
