I love helping people and working with families. Getting to know the family dynamics is very important in providing not only health care but emotional support as well. I enjoy working with a variety of people so I chose family medicine, which can be fascinating and challenging.

I feel that it’s important for patients to take an active role in their care. I can provide information and options, and together we can come up with a plan.

I am a mother of four boys and a grandmother of two grandsons. I lived in Alaska for 23 years and have had some amazing adventures there. My outside interests include gardening, painting and hiking.
