From a very early age, I wanted to go into nursing. I like offering care to people during times when they need support and information. With my background in nursing education and oncology/chemotherapy administration, Breast Health provides me the opportunity to work with both "wellness" patients as well as those requiring further treatment.I enjoy a one-on-one relationship where all of my attention can be focused on the patient during the appointment. I encourage my patients to share their concerns and ask questions. I am here to offer a listening ear and to be able to answer: "Where do I go from here?" I believe that patients need to be provided with information about their health. The patient is the captain of their ship!I am married to my high school beau and have grown children and grandchildren. We all work in the medical field. My interests include spending time in the outdoors, reading, playing guitar, Bible study, and spending time with family and friends.
