I enjoy working with people and providing primary care as an internist allows me to establish an ongoing working relationship with people as they age.I’m a strong believer in preventive medicine, whenever possible. Once disease is present, aggressive risk-factor modification is important to restoring and maintaining good health.I have developed a special clinical interest in treating patients who have diabetes or osteoporosis and in helping them maintain bone health throughout the lifespan.I encourage my patients to be prepared for each visit. If they have an agenda, please make it known at the beginning of the visit, so we can cover all of the topics adequately. In addition to being board certified in internal medicine, I am a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and Certified as a Clinical Densitometrist, which means I am qualified to interpret bone densitometry examinations. In my personal life, I’m married with three children. I enjoy gardening and cooking.
