I think communication with the patient is the key to providing good medical care. Patients need to feel comfortable asking their doctor any questions they have. As a physician, I need to inform my patients about their condition, so they can make educated choices in their health care.

Patients will get the most out of their office visit if they come prepared to ask their questions, know their medicines and what has been tried previously for their condition(s).

I chose medicine as a career because I enjoyed science and liked working with people.
