Provider Bio

I treat my patients like I would treat any member of my family. My top priority is to help you restore function in order to improve your quality of care and to get you back to the highest level of performance as possible. I want my patients to be the best they can be, and I provide individualized care to meet their personal needs. I believe in a team approach to health care, and I am honored to work with an excellent staff of nurses, athletic trainers, physical therapists and others.

I have been fortunate to work with some of the most accomplished orthopedic surgeons in the country, including James Andrews, MD; and William Clancy, Jr., MD, of the American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, Ala. During my fellowship there, I served as a team physician for Auburn University in Alabama, provided medical assistance to the Washington Redskins of the National Football League and for the NFL combines. My sub-specialty training in sports medicine surgery includes arthroscopic care for shoulder, elbow, wrist, knee and ankle injuries.

My wife, Laura, and I both are Wisconsin natives and are very glad to be back here after years of training in other parts of the country. We have a son, Rory, and we enjoy a wide variety of family activities and attend many local sporting and charity events. I also enjoy running, camping, hiking, tennis, gardening and cooking.
