While I was a child, close family members were in and out of clinics and hospitals, which caused me to learn a lot about health care. It was interesting to realize that the choices we make regarding our health care can have good/bad outcomes in our total health and well being. Working in family practice has allowed many opportunities, but through the years, I have found that working in women's health has been very rewarding. I also enjoy talking to patient's about diet, exercise and life style changes.I believe that the patient and their provider are a team working together for the best health for the individual, mind and body. Patients should come to their appointments with an attitude of cooperation.Outside of work, I have a full family life and enjoy every minute with each member of my family. I like to bike, hike, read and cook.
