Wearing a hand-made mask is a preventative measure, in addition to social distancing and maintaining proper hand hygiene, to limit the spread of COVID-19. To learn how to make your own mask(s), watch the videos below.
It is important to note that hand-made masks are not meant to prevent people from getting COVID-19, but meant to prevent people from touching their face and mouth. These masks are meant to keep each person’s respiratory secretion to themselves and prevent from spreading COVID-19 which one can have without symptoms.
If you wish to make masks, the following criteria must be followed:
Prevea will once again collect cloth, handmade face masks to be used as needed from Monday, June 8 through Friday, June 19
(excluding weekends) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
