When you are ready to start a family, we’re here to answer all of your questions. From family planning with fertility care, prenatal care and high risk pregnancy care to the moment you welcome your little one into the world and see your baby for the first time, we’ll give you the resources and support you need to have the best possible experience every step of the way.

Prevea’s team of OB providers, which includes certified obstetricianscertified nurse-midwives, nurse practitioners and physicians assistants, can help you with your prenatal, pregnancy and postpartum care. They care for pregnant women at several health centers throughout eastern Wisconsin and our obstetricians and midwives deliver babies at HSHS St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay and HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan. By listening to your needs and wishes, they tailor your care to your needs and to guide you through your pregnancy journey.

Pregnancy is a special time, and we want you to feel comfortable during your prenatal visits knowing that you are receiving individualized pregnancy care. When talking with your doctor, midwife or others on your care team, you can be sure they are fully dedicated to caring for you and your baby, so you’re in good hands. This includes access to a high-risk pregnancy team in Green Bay, should the need arise.

During your pregnancy, your provider will discuss your goals for labor and delivery and how they can help you meet them. They can help you develop a birth plan and answer any questions you may have.

When it is time for your baby to be born, your labor and delivery will take place at HSHS St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay or HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan where you’ll find Women and Infant Centers to accommodate your every need. At both hospitals, you will be welcomed by warm and friendly staff and you can choose the options for pain relief and support that work for you and your family. This could include a medication-free labor, IV medication, an epidural, nitrous oxide and other comfort measures.

HSHS St. Vincent Hospital is proud to be Northeast Wisconsin’s only Baby-Friendly Hospital. Baby-Friendly Hospitals are recognized for offering the finest level of care for infant feeding and mother-baby bonding.

Prevea’s team of providers will work with you to make sure you feel confident as you move through your pregnancy, labor, delivery and post-partum care after baby arrives.

If you're thinking about breastfeeding or have questions or concerns with breastfeeding, Prevea and HSHS also offer breastfeeding counseling and support.
