Integrative medicine and physiatry blends mainstream medicine with alternative medicine to provide a more holistic approach to healing that includes prevention, diagnosis, non-surgical treatment and rehabilitation. Prevea Integrative Medicine & Physiatry services are provided by Dr. Lora Thaxton at the Centers for Rehabilitation Services, 1109 West Clairemont Ave. in Eau Claire. Prevea Integrative Medicine & Physiatry also offers an inpatient rehabilitation program at HSHS Sacred Heart Hospital, 900 West Clairemont Ave. in Eau Claire. It is the only inpatient rehabilitation program in the Western Wisconsin region accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.
