Find your care
Prevea surgical oncology
If you’ve been diagnosed with cancer, you’re in the best of hands at Prevea. The journey won’t be easy, but your surgical oncologist and cancer care team will be with you every step of the way. From the moment you are diagnosed, through treatment, to survivorship and beyond, you can expect that we’ll check in with you regularly to make sure you have all the resources you need.
You can take comfort in knowing Prevea has the area’s only board-certified, fellowship-trained surgical oncologist. A surgical oncologist is a specially-trained surgeon who has the expertise to perform biopsies and other complex surgical procedures on cancer patients. Operations are performed using advanced laparoscopic and robotic-assisted techniques. We also use the latest diagnostic technology to provide the highest quality of surgical care.
A cancer diagnosis can feel overwhelming, affecting every part of you. That’s why we strongly believe in treating you as a whole person, and why we offer more than just powerful technology and treatments; we offer sincere care that incorporates your personal wishes, ensuring your treatment plan is right for you.
Access to care, no matter who your doctor is
Due to Prevea having the only surgical oncologist in the area, your referring doctor may be at another health system. That’s no problem. If you choose Prevea surgical oncology, we will care for you here, ensure your referring provider is aware of your treatment plan and transition you back to your original provider. It’s that easy! Just make sure to check with your insurance carrier to make sure you’ll be covered.
