I believe my patients are the experts of their lives, and my role is to offer non-judgmental support, an outside perspective, and skills to feel better about themselves and their relationships. There are things we are all working on as individuals to improve ourselves, and there are also things within our systems (family, work, school and community) that can be explored and addressed in order to feel significant, cared for and valued. We are all competent in determining what we need to feel better, and I'm here to help my patients feel safe enough to take steps toward getting their needs met."
