VIEW MY FULL BIO
I believe life experiences shape our lives. I went into health care after my mother had a terminal illness; I was touch by the impact her caregivers had on her life.
After completing my initial nursing degree, I worked in a cardiac ICU and loved the experience I gained there. After awhile, I found myself wanting to move toward preventive care--to help people from ending up there.
As a nurse practitioner, my goal is to help people be as healthy as they can be. I believe working with patients is a team effort, and that each individual is an important part of the team. I strive to make people realize the benefit that positive lifestyle choices can make on their lives, and I try to identify and treat problems that heredity, aging and bad lifestyle can create.
Away from work, I enjoy gardening, traveling, reading, almost all sports, and spending time with my husband and two children."
