Attending counseling for the first time can provoke feelings of anxiety for some people. It is important for all patients to know that they will be treated with both kindness and compassion, and that counseling occurs in a confidential and secure setting. I believe that all patients should be treated with dignity and respect.
It is my goal to help patients improve their quality of life and to restore feelings of competency. My role as a therapist is to provide tools and provoke change with my patients allowing them to achieve their desired treatment goals.
I have always seen myself as a healer; I enjoy the opportunity to help others achieve their own potential. It is my privilege as a provider to be given the opportunity to witness personal growth and development of all my clients.
I have worked in both inpatient and outpatient clinic settings, providing mental health and AODA services to a wide range of people.
I am an avid sports fan who cheers for all of Wisconsin's sports franchises. I enjoy reading, spending time with family, fishing, walking the dog, home repair projects and spending time outdoors."
