Now caring for patients in Green Bay


GREEN BAY, Wis. – Prevea Health is pleased to welcome Dr. Alex Barr, a board-certified otolaryngologist now caring for adults and children in Green Bay.

Dr. Barr specializes in comprehensive ear, nose and throat (ENT) care including head and neck surgery; thyroid disease; parathyroid conditions; laryngitis; skin cancers and lesions of the head and neck; tonsillitis; snoring and sleep apnea; nasal obstruction; nasal trauma/deformity; sinus disease; hearing loss; ear infections; minimally invasive sinus surgery; breathing and voice disorders; and local reconstruction of head and neck defects. 

“My goal is to provide my patients with the best possible outcome using the least invasive intervention possible,” says Dr. Barr. “My patients can expect that I will take the time at each visit to help them understand their symptoms or diagnosis, and I will encourage them to be an active participant in their treatment plan."

Dr. Barr earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin and completed a residency in otolaryngology at the University of Minnesota. He is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology.

Dr. Barr sees patients at Prevea St. Mary’s Health Center, 1860 Shawano Ave., Green Bay and performs surgery at Prevea Surgery Center, HSHS St. Vincent Hospital and HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital Medical Center in Green Bay. Appointments can be scheduled by calling (920) 405-1414.
