Rachel Jolivard, APNP, FNP-C
I treat my patients with the care, compassion and time that I would my own family. I work alongside each patient and their families to develop an individualized treatment plan that prioritizes their needs, education and comfort. I believe communication is key to continued success in health at home.
Having worked as a bedside nurse in oncology has been invaluable to me and made me the nurse practitioner I am today. I have also gone on multiple medical missions to serve the people in need in Haiti and India, which has left me with a great appreciation for the resources we have available to help give our patients the highest quality of care possible.
With a personal history of ovarian cancer, as well as my son needing a bone marrow transplant, I’ve been on the other side of health care. This has allowed me to see things from a patient and family point of view and I take this perspective into consideration when caring for my patients."
As a nurse practitioner, I specialize in caring for hospitalized patients.
- Hospital care 24 hours a day, seven days a week
- In-patient medical care
- Coordinating hospital tests and treatment programs
