Prevea welcomes general surgeon, Dr. Abdelouahid Wahid Souala

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. – Prevea Health is pleased to welcome Abdelouahid Wahid Souala, MD, a general surgeon now caring for patients in Sheboygan.

Dr. Wahid Souala specializes in robotic and minimally invasive surgery, hernia repair, anti-reflux and hiatal hernia surgery, general abdominal surgery, breast cancer surgery, and hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis access. He also performs surgical colonoscopies and endoscopies.

“I believe patients should be empowered to direct their own medical care,” says Dr. Wahid Souala. “My job is to facilitate this process by spending the time to get to know my patients and then guiding them through their medical journey."

Dr. Wahid Souala earned his medical degree from Michigan State University and completed his residency in general surgery at the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. He is affiliated with the American College of Surgeons and the American Medical Association.
