I was a family medicine physician at the Prevea West De Pere Health Center until 2010 when I started caring for patients full time at the Veterans Administration in Green Bay. I returned to Prevea because here I can practice the full scope of family medicine and share the values of my experienced colleagues. 

I provide comprehensive care for the entire family. Prevention is very important; I prefer to prevent disease, resorting to medications as a secondary option. I also prefer to treat the whole person, rather than a disease alone. 

I like teaching patients about their health and working collaboratively with patients as a team to improve or maintain their health. Involving patients in the responsibility and giving them choices to make the best treatment decisions is one way we can develop a team approach to achieve their health care goals. 

I bring a broad base of experience to my health care practice, from my pre-medical years as a college athletic trainer and Emergency Medical Technician, to my early physician years in the Air Force during peacetime and war. Over the years, I have practiced in different areas of the country, but the last 16 years here in the Green Bay area is where I made my home. 

I have a combined interest in scuba diving and dive medicine and have taken some courses in scuba dive medicine and the marine environment about diving safely and diving medical issues. I enjoy traveling, and I have traveled around the world to various remote dive destinations. I also like taking underwater photography and spending time with my family."
