When working with pediatric patients and their families, building trust, respect, and rapport is paramount in my treatment philosophy. My sessions incorporate a play-based approach and I enjoy using a variety of therapy techniques during treatment sessions. I offer comprehensive evaluations that include parent interview, observations and standardized testing.
My goal is to improve a child's functional communication skills to ensure they are able to convey their thoughts, feelings and opinions in the community setting. I strive to build off a child's strengths and foster their foundational skills.
With 15 years of experience working with children ages 2-18, I thoroughly enjoy my job due to the vast variety of communicative disorders that I treat."
