VIEW MY FULL BIO
I chose this specialty because neuropsychology represents a wonderful interplay between psychological and physiological well-being. It is described as a branch of psychology that aims to understand how the structure and function of the brain relate to specific psychological processes. For example, neuropsychology brings a psychological view point to treatment to help understand how illness and injury may affect and be affected by psychological factors.

I believe the most important part of patient care is listening — first and foremost we need to give our patients time to be heard.

Throughout my career I have developed a special interest in pediatric neuropsychology, although I work with patients ranging in age from three to 99+ years old!

When patients come in for an office visit, they should be prepared to spend time talking about their history, including their medical, social, occupational and academic history. Bringing any relevant school or medical records or any other past evaluations can be helpful, too.

My credentials include a doctorate degree with a specialization in neuropsychology, along with completing an internship and post-doctoral fellowship in neuropsychology.

I’m an avid reader, and a nature and animal lover."
