Your safety is our priority

If allergy testing is needed, we will perform the test in our office, in a controlled environment to safely monitor you for an allergic reaction.

Vaccine reaction monitoring

If you are at high-risk for vaccine reactions or have experienced severe allergic reactions to vaccines in the past, you can have your vaccines administered at Prevea Health with an allergist present to monitor for any adverse reaction.

Key services

Seasonal allergies

Seasonal allergy symptoms can occur throughout the year, depending on which allergens are in season. Symptoms from ragweed, dust and pollen can include itchy, red or watery eyes, a congested or runny nose, sneezing, sinus pressure and more.

Food allergies

When you know which foods you or your child is allergic to, you can better plan to avoid an allergic reaction. Testing and treatment is available. Testing may include a food challenge. This entails giving you food in our office and monitoring you for a reaction.

Eczema, rashes and chronic hives

Eczema, an allergic reaction rash or chronic hives can be triggered by allergens you encounter in your day-to-day life. These skin conditions can be evaluated and treated by an allergist, and they can help you create a plan to avoid these allergens.

Asthma

Asthma symptoms can be evaluated by an allergist to understand your asthma triggers. The physician can then conduct a lung function test or use another test to determine what is causing the symptoms, and then create a plan to better manage asthma.

Immunology

Prevea provides evaluation and treatment for immune deficiency issues, such as recurrent infections. Our physicians also work closely with other physicians and providers, such as ear, nose and throat specialists and gastroenterologists, to co-manage conditions.

Penicillin allergy testing

If you think you have a penicillin allergy, it’s best to be tested to make sure. Many people think they have one, but are not allergic. An allergist will discuss the risks of having an penicillin allergy and determine whether testing would be beneficial.
