GREEN BAY, Wis. — Prevea Health is proud to welcome Victor Hugo Benali, MD, to the Neurosurgery and Neurointerventional Surgery teams at the Prevea Allouez Health Center and HSHS St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay.
Dr. Benali is physician with Neuroscience Group, an independent medical practice that partners with Prevea Health to provide comprehensive brain, spine and nerve care in the Green Bay and Sheboygan communities. Dr. Benali’s key services include brain and spine surgery, skull base surgery and vascular and endovascular neurosurgery for conditions such as brain aneurysms, stroke, spinal malformations, spinal stenosis, herniated discs and other complex conditions.
“My philosophy of care is patient centered,” said Dr. Benali. “To me, this means to share the decision with the patient, explaining the patient’s condition and the best treatments we have to address it.”
Dr. Benali earned his medical degree from Centro Universitário de Volta Redonda in Brazil. He completed his General Surgery Residency at Santa Rita de Maringá Hospital and his Neurosurgery Residency at Irmandade Santa Casa de São Paulo Hospital, both located in Brazil.
He is also certified with the Society of Neurointerventional Surgery, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons and the Brazilian Society of Neurosurgery.
Appointments with Dr. Benali at the Prevea Allouez Health Center can be scheduled by calling (920) 272-1610.
