Sign-ups now open for Prevea Health’s 2nd annual charity pickleball tournament

Proceeds will support breast cancer screenings and early detection efforts

 

GREEN BAY, Wis. — Prevea Health invites players of all skill levels to register for its 2nd annual charity pickleball tournament on Saturday, Oct. 10, at The Picklr Green Bay (2610 Holmgren Way).

Now in its second year, the tournament is adopting a new theme — Prevea Dink for Pink | Pickleball for a Cause. All proceeds will go to the HSHS St. Vincent / St. Mary’s Foundation to support life-saving breast cancer screenings, early detection efforts and patient resources.

“After such a great response to last year’s tournament, we’re thrilled to serve up an even bigger impact this year through our ‘Dink for Pink’ initiative,” said Dr. Ashok Rai, President and CEO of Prevea Health. “This event brings our community together for a fun day on the pickleball court while raising critical support for local breast cancer screenings and care.”

The tournament features three competition rounds starting at 8 a.m., 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Registration fees are $40 for a single round or $70 to play in two.
