Have you seen this provider in the last three years?

My years of experience as an ICU nurse provided a strong foundation for my role as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. Caring for critically ill patients in a high-acuity environment strengthened my skills in advanced assessment, clinical reasoning, and multidisciplinary collaboration. Building on that foundation, I earned my Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care, which further enhanced my expertise in managing complex and unstable patients. Together, these experiences have shaped me into a provider who delivers evidence-based, compassionate care to critically ill patients and their families. My philosophy of patient care is rooted in empathy, compassion, and respect for each individual and their unique journey through illness and healing. I believe in providing patient-centered care that empowers individuals and their families through clear communication, education, and shared decision-making. In the critical care setting, where patients and loved ones often face uncertainty and fear, I strive to ensure they feel heard, supported, and cared for as people, not just as medical cases. I am deeply committed to informed, evidence-based practice that integrates the science of medicine with the art of human connection. Compassion and empathy are not secondary to clinical skill—they are essential components of healing. My goal is to deliver care that not only addresses the physical complexities of critical illness, but also fosters trust, comfort and dignity in every interaction. I am married and a proud mom of three children, who keep life busy, joyful, and full of laughter. I grew up in a small town in Wisconsin, where I learned the value of community, hard work, and compassion; principles that continue to guide me in my practice today. When I’m not in the ICU, I enjoy spending time with my husband and children and raising future Bears fans! Outside of work, I enjoy staying active and finding balance through fitness. I’m also an animal lover with a soft spot for our four-legged family members, and a self-proclaimed Christmas tree connoisseur who loves making the holiday season extra special."
