“
I am a board-certified psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner, women’s health nurse practitioner and certified nurse midwife. I completed my psychiatric education and training at Yale University, where I trained extensively in general psychiatry, adolescent psychiatry and reproductive psychiatry including infertility, pregnancy loss, postpartum mood disorders and perimenopausal and menopausal mental health symptoms. My training in women’s health as a nurse practitioner was at UW-Madison and included rotations in OBGYN, infertility and primary care. My goal is to be able to blend my unique understanding of female hormones with psychiatric and mental health symptoms and treatments. I am a firm believer that patients are experts and should be partners in decision making. What truly sets me apart as a provider is my passion for partnering with patients to navigate life’s transitions and individualize their care. With curiosity, respect and warmth, I commit to creating a treatment plan that is suitable to each patients’ lived experiences and treatment goals.
I joined Prevea because I was seeking a collaborative practice grounded in evidence-based care with an abundance of resources to support patients in their journey towards improved health and wellness. On a personal note, I am married and have three children. In my free time, I enjoy reading, traveling, cooking, gardening, walking my dogs and cheering on the Wisconsin Badgers and Green Bay Packers."
