“
I provide comprehensive inpatient care for hospitalized adults, with a focus on managing acute and complex medical conditions, coordinating multidisciplinary care and communicating closely with patients and their families throughout their hospital stay.
Before completing my Internal Medicine residency in the United States, I cared for patients in Brazil, including working in an emergency urgent care unit during the COVID-19 pandemic. Those experiences, along with my residency training in inpatient medicine, critical care and emergency medicine taught me to remain calm under pressure, work closely with multidisciplinary teams and provide thoughtful, patient-centered care to people with complex medical needs.
I believe every patient deserves compassionate, respectful and evidence-based care. My training has shaped the way I practice medicine: listening carefully, communicating clearly and working as a team to provide safe, thoughtful care. My goal is to help patients and families feel informed, respected and supported during their hospital stay.
Patients can expect to be treated with respect, compassion and honesty. I take time to listen to their concerns, explain the plan of care clearly and answer questions whenever possible. During a hospital stay, my goal is to help patients and families understand what is happening and feel supported throughout their care. My family is an important source of support and inspiration.
Outside of medicine, I enjoy traveling, hiking, exploring national parks, photography and trying new restaurants. I also value spending time with my family and friends and enjoy learning about different cultures through travel."
