I take time to explain a patient's current cardiovascular condition, side-effects and treatment options. I want patients and their families (if they wish) to take an active role in their health care decisions.

Patients should bring a list of questions for us to address during their visit, as well as an up-to-date list of medications and health records, including past procedures or hospitalizations.

I enjoy meeting new patients, but also following up with patients in the clinic after hospitalizations or procedures. I strive to maximize secondary risk factors to prevent further cardiovascular disease."
