I decided to become a physician assistant because I’ve always had an interest in how the human body works to heal itself, and have always wanted to help people. I was an athletic trainer before becoming a physician assistant, so I had a natural tendency toward orthopedics. I am here to take care of people with injuries or illnesses in a caring and compassionate manner.

Having a teaching and athletic training background, I have been able to educate patients through a variety of modalities and demonstrate proper exercise techniques to facilitate their recovery from an injury.

I believe patients can make the most out of their office visit by making a list of questions to bring with them to the visit. Patients should also have list of medications and/or allergies and bring any x-rays or MRIs with them to their appointment.

I maintain board certification as a physician assistant (PA-C) and National Athletic Trainer Certification (NATA).

I have been married since 2003 and have two daughters. I enjoy biking, camping, hunting, fishing, landscaping, gardening, photography, woodworking and fixing things."
