The patient's story matters most to me. I believe in listening to the needs of my patients and doing what I can to meet them there as well as offering a solution to their problems or searching for that solution with them. I want each patient to know I am on their journey with them to improved function and a better life.

I listen to my patient’s concerns and address their most pressing issues. In doing so, I try to help them understand the medical explanation of their situation. I like to empower them with options that fit their lifestyle, urgency and ability while guiding them toward a solution that will improve their health. Finally, I do what I can to make them comfortable and provide a plan they can digest so they have a vision of the future possible for them.

My family is from Texas and my brother lives in Colorado, so we are spread out throughout the central time zone, but we are very close. My parents are both teachers and have given me the gift of curiosity and learning.

I enjoy cooking, especially Italian food, making coffee every way it can possibly be made, weightlifting, drawing and traveling with my wife."
