As a therapist, I strongly believe in supporting survivors and patients in defining what their unique healing path looks like. I am a firm believer in the importance of a strengths-based approach, which highlights the individual’s resiliency and knowledge of themselves. As a therapist, I seek to facilitate a space for my patients to heal their past experiences through safety, collaboration and empowerment. I have worked in a variety of settings providing advocacy and case management services to patients who suffered sexual violence, were victims of crime, and children in the child welfare system. Throughout my career, I have discovered my passion for trauma treatment and working to end sexual and domestic violence. I am a part of the LGBTQPIA+ community, and I live with my partner and our cats."
